“Last year, the German tuner Brabus gave Mercedes-Benz S600 its special iBusiness treatment and transformed it into a high-tech office on wheels. The story gets more serious and swanky this time, with the Brabus iBusiness 3D Mercedes-Benz Viano, which made its debut at this year’s Geneva auto show. The Brabus iBusiness treatment has undeniably made the Mercedes Viano the most technologically packed van you might have seen ever. The Brabus iBusiness 3D Mercedes-Benz Viano has almost everything you would expect from a luxurious, high-tech office. Once inside, you might feel like you’re going to some special occasion inside a luxurious limousine. Brabus has created a mobile multimedia 3D cinema for the van.
The back wall inside the fan holds a 40-inch Sony Bravia LED TV with 3D technology that’s connected to a digital TV receiver and a PlayStation 3. The screen can also serve as the main monitor Mac Mini, which is connected to the Internet via UMTS and HSDPA, and features wireless Wi-Fi. The Mercedes-Benz Viano is simply a 3D multimedia lounge on wheels combining custom interior design and 3D entertainment technology with gadgets like iPad, MacMini, iPhone and iPod, which control the entire on-board multimedia experience.
Other lavish business class features include two electronically adjustable armchairs wrapped in soft Bordeaux-red and grey leather. The passengers will be able to adjust these armchairs to a full recline position for sleeping or an upright position. The chairs come with stowaway tray tables, iPads and leg rests. The van also has a mini bar and a fridge.
Brabus has fitted the Viano with a 6.1-liter V8 producing 313kW of power and 621Nm of torque. With that configuration, the van will do 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds, with a limited top speed of 250km/h. They are also offering a 3.0-liter, 3.5-liter and 4.0-liter diesel engine upgrade.
With a horde of multimedia features, the Brabus iBusiness 3D Mercedes-Benz Viano is indisputably the hippest, coolest and most tech-packed van in the world.”
